今回のコラボレーションは、Nomad Coffee、Pa de Kilo、Pallarès Solsonaが、丁寧で正確な職人技に対する共通の理解のもとに実現しました。パラレス社の伝統的な製法に従いソルソナで製造されたこのナイフは、とくに丸パンを切るために設計されています。刻印された「bona feina」は、アラゴン地方の伝統的なナイフ「sabateta」を参考にしています。これは、日常使いのために帯やポケットに入れて持ち歩く小型のナイフで、場合によっては約束の証として贈られることもありました。
The handle fits my hand like it was carved for it, and the blade keeps its edge through a whole morning of slicing bread and pastries. You can feel the care in every detail, from the balance to the finish, and it’s become my go-to in the kitchen.
It takes a beating and still holds an edge like the day it arrived; the traditional craftsmanship really shows in every cut. I’ve used it daily for bread and pastry, and the handle feels warm and secure even after an hour of prep. This one’s a keeper for sure.
The craftsmanship is immediately obvious—you can tell it was made slowly and carefully, the way things used to be. It’s a beautiful object that feels grounded in tradition, and it sharpens up beautifully for everyday use.
