当初はカトゥーラの自然突然変異と考えられていましたが、実際にはカトゥーラ種やブルボン種とは無関係であることが判明しています。実際、エチオピア原産の品種で、カトゥーラにわずかに似ていますが、コーヒーの果実はやや細長い形状です。この特異な原産地に、ホアン・ベルガラ氏による革新プロセスが加わることで、カップの中に非常にフレッシュでシトラス系、ハーブ系のニュアンスを見出すことができます。具体的には、ローズマリーの蜂蜜、レモンキャラメル、レモングラス。非常にフレッシュなコーヒーで、口当たりにはホワイトチョコレートやカカオバターのような甘いノートも感じられます。この組み合わせにより、ミント入りのチョコレート菓子「アフターエイト」を彷彿とさせます。ボディは滑らかで、ジューシーな酸味があります。
