콜라사이 부르봉은 콜라사이 지역에서 재배되는 독특한 아라비카 커피 품종입니다. 지역 생산자들은 외관이 비슷하다고 해서 부르봉이라고 부르지만, 유전자 검사 결과 카티모르와 유전적으로 유사한 지역 변종 또는 교배종으로, 해당 계열에서 흔히 나타나는 풀맛이나 떫은맛이 없는 것이 특징입니다.
팀부야쿠 농장의 이 특정 로트에서는 주로 견과류와 헤이즐넛 노트를 비롯해 배와 자두를 연상시키는 과일 향이 느껴집니다. 또한 코코아 파우더와 토피를 떠올리게 하는 매우 달콤한 질감을 지니고 있습니다. 산미는 부드럽고 바디감은 중간 정도입니다.
It’s got that deep, almost caramel-like richness you don’t find in mass-market beans, and the body feels heavier than I expected for an arabica. Ground it coarse for my French press and the cup came out clean, no bitterness at the tail. Just wish the bag were bigger.
